alsa-utils tries creating /run/lock/asound.state.lock, but, since /run/ is a tmpfs, that path does not exist in packaging. It is expected that this path is created at runtime, but systemd does not because systemd considers /run/lock/ to be a legacy path and locks creating it behind its legacy sysv compat. Because we cannot enable sysv compat and cannot patch systemd to still allow /run/lock/ in its regular tmpfiles.d config, creating a custom config is the best solution. This is not in a systemd subpackage because OpenRC installs can also use tmpfiles.d and discussion in abuild came to the conclusion that tmpfiles.d configs should stay in the regular packaging and not go into a subpackage. This repository contains the APKBUILD files for postmarketOS-specific packages, along with the required patches and scripts, if any.
