We've been sitting on this longer than we meant to due to travel and
other activities, but the number of patches is luckily not that high.
Biggest changes are from a batch of OMAP bugfixes, but there are a
few for the broader set of SoCs too (bcm2835, pxa, highbank, tegra,
at91 and i.MX).
The OMAP patches contain some fixes for MUSB/PHY on omap4 which
ends up being a bit on the large side but needed for legacy (non-DT)
platforms. Beyond that there are a handful of hwmod/pm changes.
So, fairly noncontroversial stuff all in all, and as usual around this
time the fixes are well targeted at specific problems.

"uprobes: Rework register_for_each_vma() to make it O(n)" should be
blamed anyway, it made everything worse and I didn't notice.
register/unregister call build_map_info() and then do install/remove
breakpoint for every mm which mmaps inode/offset. This can obviously
race with fork()->dup_mmap() in between and we can miss the child.
uprobe_register() could be easily fixed but unregister is much worse,
the new mm inherits "int3" from parent and there is no way to detect
this if uprobe goes away.
So this patch simply adds percpu_down_read/up_read around dup_mmap(),
and percpu_down_write/up_write into register_for_each_vma().
This adds 2 new hooks into dup_mmap() but we can kill uprobe_dup_mmap()
and fold it into uprobe_end_dup_mmap().

Allows overriding default methods serial_in/serial_out.
In such platform specific replacement it is possible to use
other regshift, biased register offset, any other manipulation
that is not covered with common default methods.
Overriding default methods may be useful for platforms which got
serial peripheral with registers represented in big endian.
In this situation and assuming that 32 bit operations / alignment
is required then it may be useful to swab words before/after
accessing the serial registers.

The map_word_load() function initializes exactly
as many words in the buffer as required, but gcc
cannot figure this out and gives a misleading
warning. Marking the local variable as
uninitialized_var shuts up that warning.
Without this patch, building acs5k_defconfig results in:
drivers/mtd/chips/cfi_cmdset_0002.c: In function 'cfi_amdstd_panic_write':
include/linux/mtd/map.h:331:11: warning: 'r.x[0]' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Wuninitialized]

The diskonchip drivers traditionally use home-grown macros for
doing MMIO accesses, which cause a lot of warnings, at least
on ARM machines:
drivers/mtd/devices/doc2000.c: In function 'doc_write':
drivers/mtd/devices/doc2000.c:854:5: warning: value computed is not used [-Wunused-value]
drivers/mtd/devices/doc2000.c: In function 'doc_erase':
drivers/mtd/devices/doc2000.c:1123:5: warning: value computed is not used [-Wunused-value
drivers/mtd/nand/diskonchip.c: In function 'doc2000_read_byte':
drivers/mtd/nand/diskonchip.c:318:3: warning: value computed is not used [-Wunused-value]
A nicer solution is to use the architecture-defined I/O accessors.
Here, we use the __raw_readl/__raw_writel style, instead of the
proper readl/writel ones, in order to preserve the odd semantics
of the existing macros that have their own barrier implementation
and no byte swap. It would be nice to fix this properly and use
the correct accessors as well as make the word size independent
from the architecture, but I guess the hardware is obsolete
enough that we should better not mess the driver an more than
necessary.

On newer SH-/R-Mobile SoCs, a clock supply to the I2C hardware block,
which is used to generate the SCL clock output, is getting faster than
before, while on the other hand, the SCL clock control registers, ICCH
and ICCL, stay unchanged in 9-bit-wide (8+1).
On such silicons, the internal SCL clock counter gets incremented every
2 clocks of the operating clock.

After commit "TTY: move tty buffers to tty_port", the tty buffers are
not freed in some drivers. This is because tty_port_destructor is not
called whenever a tty_port is freed. This was an assumption I counted
with but was unfortunately untrue.
Those using refcounting are safe now, but for those which do not we
introduce a function to be called right before the tty_port is freed

It will be useful to be able to access global memory commitment from
device drivers. On the Hyper-V platform, the host has a policy engine to
balance the available physical memory amongst all competing virtual
machines hosted on a given node. This policy engine is driven by a number
of metrics including the memory commitment reported by the guests. The
balloon driver for Linux on Hyper-V will use this function to retrieve
guest memory commitment. This function is also used in Xen self
ballooning code.

obtained:

The code probes if DMA channels can get allocated and tears them down at
removal/failure if needed.
If available it uses them to transfer the data part (not ECC). On
failure we fall back to PIO mode.

Some small fixes to avoid sparse and smatch complain. Other cosmetic fixes
as well.
- Change of the type of the member index in struct sh_flctl from signed
to unsigned. We use index by addressing array members, so unsigned is more
concise here. Adapt functions relying on sh_flctl::index.
- Remove a blurring cast in write_fiforeg().
- Apply consistent naming scheme when refering to the data buffer.
- Shorten some unnecessarily verbose functions.
- Remove spaces at start of lines.

The whole gpmi-nand driver has turned to pure devicetree supported.
So the linux/mtd/gpmi-nand.h is not neccessary now. Just remove it,
and move some macros to the gpmi-nand driver itself.

Few devices like H27UBG8T2CTR have a writesize/oobsize of 8KB/640B.
This means that the maximum oobsize has gone up to 640 bytes and consequently
the maximum ecc placement locations have also gone up to 640.

This driver is based on the thermal management framework in thermal_sys.c. A
thermal zone device is created with the trip points to which cooling devices
can be bound, the current cooling device is cpufreq, e.g. CPU frequency is
clipped down to cool the CPU, and other cooling devices can be added and bound
to the trip points dynamically. The platform specific PRCMU interrupts are
used to active thermal update when trip points are reached.

Commit bbf43dc888 "sunrpc/cache.h: replace
simple_strtoul" introduced new range-checking which could cause get_int
to fail on unsigned integers too large to be represented as an int.
We could parse them as unsigned instead--but it turns out svcgssd is
actually passing down "-1" in some cases. Which is perhaps stupid, but
there's nothing we can do about it now.
So just revert back to the previous "sloppy" behavior that accepts
either representation.

Commit e5cc8ef (ACPI / PM: Provide ACPI PM callback routines for
subsystems) introduced a build problem occuring if CONFIG_ACPI is
unset or CONFIG_PM is unset and errno.h is not included before
acpi.h, because in that case ENODEV used in acpi.h is undefined.
Fix the issue by making acpi.h include errno.h.

This is the Regulator patch for the DA9055 PMIC and has got dependency on
the DA9055 MFD core.
This patch support all of the DA9055 regulators. The output voltages are
fully programmable through I2C interface only. The platform data with regulation
constraints is passed down from the board to the regulator.
This patch is functionaly tested on SMDK6410 board. DA9055 Evaluation board
was connected to the SMDK6410 board.

Moving regulator node parsing to regulator driver in place
of parsing it on mfd driver.
The motivation for this change are:
- MFD core driver should not depends on regulator and able
to instantiate device without regulator.
- The API for matching regulators are in regulator core and
it is good that regulator driver only calls this API.
- Regulator specific support should be in regulator driver only
to ease any enhancement/modification for regulators.
- The regulator driver is now registered as mfd sub device and
all regulator registration is done from single probe call.
